Intermec CN3 Color Coded Keys

All keypads on your Intermec CN3 include color coded modifier keys for characters, symbols and functions printed on the keypad overlay. The numeric keypads include an orange modifier key and a green modifier key. The alphanumeric keypads include only an orange modifier key.

Using the Color Coded Keys

To Do This Press Example
Use the orange character or function above a key. Press the orange color coded key (LED illuminates) and then the key with the character or function printed above it (LED turns off). On the QWERTY keypad, press the orange key and the Q to type the @ sign.
Use a green Character or function printed above a key. Press the orange color key (LED illuminates) and then the key with the character function printed above it (LED turns off). On the numeric keypad, press the green key and then 2 to type a lowercase a.
Lock the green or orange key to stay on. Press either key twice quickly. On the numeric keypad, press either key twice and the green LED illuminates and stays on.
Unlock a green or orange key. Press either button once. Press either key once to unlock and turn off the LED.
