Cleaning Your Zebra QL Series Printer
Routinely cleaning and maintaining your Zebra QL Series printer will help extend its usefulness and will help improve your team efficiency when performing their day to day activities. The following is a general guideline on how to clean and maintain your printer.
QL220/QL320/QL420 Cleaning

Printhead | Use a printer cleaning pen or 70% isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab to clean printhead elements from end to end (the print head elements are located in the thin grey line on the printhead | After every five rolls of media (more often if needed). Platen Roller | Rotate the platen roller and clean it thoroughly with a cleaning pen or 70% isopropyl and a cotton swab | After every five rolls of media (more often if needed). Linerless media requires more frequent cleaning |
