A large AIDC OEM
Customer approached OEM asking if they could repair a competitor’s product, in an effort to consolidate all AIDC repairs through one source.
Carlton provided a flat fee repair program for the OEM under which the customer ships faulty equipment directly to Carlton. Carlton repairs the equipment within specified time frames, drop ships back to the customer, and invoices the OEM directly. The OEM is able to make good gross margin on the repairs, retain greater account control, and strengthen the customer relationship.
